I do not know how to use the hagar. I don't know when to use it, or why to use it. I don't even know if I should use it at all.

I've mostly been using the hagar in desprate attempts to frag somebody who is attacking me when health, armor, and ammo are in short supply.

It usually doesn't work.

If can somebody teach me how use the hagar correctly, that will be great.

i use it in burst of shots normally. right click at angles to anfle the rounds off walls and ceilings, and full auto at long range. maybe we can join a server later and i can help.

It is a great weapon to secure small entrances like a door, when an enemy is on a stair, when you look downstairs or when an enemy uses a jumppad. To make it more clear: all spots where it is easy to hit, as this weapons does tons of damage. On stormkeep it is very powerful, as example.

you dont need to shot in burst, its not hlac , dont use secondary at all, best is to shot on the ground, before enemy, it helps if you have higher position, try to laserjump and switch to hagar if you are on open space

To be good at hagar you must have REALLY low ping.

A hagar's best use is pinning somebody into a corner or a wall and can be a pretty mean weapon if you manage to push somebody near the edge of a map.

Hagar is quite effective at mid and long range shots; the grenades move at a very high speed while minimally losing accuracy over distance, and its basically impossible to see them coming.

My best advice for this weapon is:
lead the target , concentrate at hitting the point where your target WILL BE, not where he is cos actually the hagar roundds are fairly slow, i find.
Then, (and this is the hard bit) the further away you are , the more distance you must lead your target by.
The problem with this is.. htf do you know where your target will be?

I find this works well if your target is by an obvious objective. ie armour or health, i don't try and hit the player but spam the crap out of the pick up cos if the target player goes to pick it up you'll probably get at least three hits.
Also, ammo is key with hagar, at lest 100 rounds before it's even worth arming.
If you get like 300, , other players be like:
'well he'll run out in a bit i'll just keep running'

Nah with this one -z- he is generally right, because of the delay for the weapon to hit the target, you just need to lead with this one a bit more, i'm not the best with it but not the worse either, waldi and bundy are really good with it though (low pings )

I think you can be good with it with a higher ping, but the low-pingers definitlely have an advantage if they are good with it

In good TDM game's i've had with constant fights over the nex and dying (on stormkeep for example) It is a really effective weapon like the electro since when I play most games are fighting over the armour and then the nexgun, so a lot of the time you have shotgun when respawning and don't have access to one of the weapons peple use most right away, so picking up the less used weapons help's a lot and you learn to become quite proficient with them and you soon find that when TDM is played to a good degree you need to be able to use all the weapons.
