A friend of mine has a problem using skype with nexuiz. The glx version won't work at all for him (assuming that the nexuiz.exe usues glx). The sdl one runs fine, but we only hear bits of what he sais after he enters the game.
I found another thread on this, but it didn't have a solution and was rather old.
Does anybody know why this happens and how you could fix that if possible.

Try "gl_finish 1", or raising Skype's process priority.1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.-

I won't recommend skype for VOIP at all while playing. Skype eats a lot resources and bandwidth.
Try using TeamSpeak or Ventrilo. Irrc. there's a teamspeak server for Nexuiz players too."One should strive to achieve; not sit in bitter regret."
