  • Hi there,
new to nexuiz and it's great so far, I'd pay for it to be blunt.

Anyway, my question is, is there no way to force enemy playermodels?
Rubbish if you're unable to see someone cuz he's using light and dark grey on a grey map, it's not "Where's Waldo? The Game" last time I checked.

Other than that I'd like to applaud everyone involved, great menu, alot of customization possible, the way it should be. And as a bonus it's fun to play too. :P

Any and all help on my question would be appreciated, the search refused to cooperate.
    Cheers

  • I think this *might* work - in data*.pk3 find player models and replace them all with nexus model.

  • Well its not possible to enable brightskins on the client. But on the server. So that all or noone can use them.. Also on team matches you do not need them :)
Try 'vcall sv_defaultplayer_fbskin_green' or _orange or _red .. or _off to disable it again

  • I see, thank you both for your replies. Maybe in the future that will be an option, would be nice.

  • Well it will require quite some amount of work on "under the hood code" to be able to move control over models to the client, which is required to be able to easily change models or skins of them. It will be done at some point but don't hold your breath :)
