Poor performance on 4500MHD.

Tips on how to tweak Nexuiz for the best performance

  • Can someone give me peformance tips for my 4500MHD? I've put everything on the lowest settings but i still cannot get a smooth acceptable amount of FPS when there is more than a few people engaged in battle.

    I find it weird because a X3100 is significantly weaker than my already pathetic GMA can achieve 60fps.

    Anyway, my full specs (laptop :P)
    Intel t4200 dual core @ 2Ghz with 1MB L2 cache (LOL)
    3GB DDR2 RAM
    Intel GMA 4500MHD.

    I cant get more than 10fps with my intel 915. Are their newer cards REALLY that good?!

  • I can play HL2 on max on a decent resolution without lag. I think its quite an improvement.

  • Juppy are you running the game in SDL or WGL mode? I have serious performance issues under the WGL.

  • Try going to your nexuiz folder and running the nexuiz-sdl.exe file... Also, do you have your video and DirectX drivers updated?
