  • I've been doing my best to research the elusive Client-Side Quake C (CSQC). The best documentation I was able to find was this cached documentation. There are however a lot of questions I'm left with.

    Such as:
What do I call the files I create?
    How do I compile csprogs.dat?

I was hoping I could get a simple proof of concept. Point A to point B on say, adding a new element to the HUD.

  • I can give you my files :P
you compile it the same way the server qc is compiled

You know, the onslaught minimap, and the ctf commander menu I've been making to experiment with csqc

basically, there are some core functions in Main.qc and View.qc in the data/qcsrc/client/ folder which are used by the engine, and you have a whole lot of builtins you can use to do stuff with it

Can you please tell me where this is so I and others can experiment?
