I'm not an expert but i have some suggestions for make more competitive nexuiz or simply to improve it

-update textures and maps if it possibile(for example:in RUINER the texture and the curved surfaces arve very nice)
-change the animation of player's walk
-add a column in the multiplayer form that show the type of the match
-change the loading screen(no console output but maybe a progress bar)
-update the models of armor and health
-add new musics more fast
-some maps have a not significant name
-a windows installer
