Is there any way to set fog on the server (2.4.2)?

I run dedicated on the other computer (ssh+screen) without X.

I want to set fog for all players

To force fog on all maps, you'd have to change the game source. In the game code's ClientConnect function, you'd add a call

stuffcmd(self, "fog ...........\n");

where the fog parameters go into the ...........

Then you recompile the source, get a new progs.dat, and it will force the fog.

all day long I thought what it didn't work for and it turned out that a map which changed the progs.dat file secretly had caused :/

I noticed that the source code was exceptionally legible and I have the plenty of ideas (...)
