Not sure if you've seen me online, ...I've been online only a few times because i'm just not Nexuiz-Ninja material, yet. (One day - I hope to be a Nexuiz-Ninja as well.) But so far, I only win against Advanced bots. Hahah! I suck next to you guys! (I've seen "-z-" YouTube page!)
Being a Nexuiz Ninja doesn't necessarily mean you are a killing machine. It largely consists of your ability to understand, share, inspire or otherwise contribute at a certain level of 'ninja quality'. Striving to create a better environment and experience we can all be proud of and feel a part of by helping others while we help ourselves. Evolving our ideas and rising as a community together through strong moral support and inspiration from fellow ninjaz.
Your sounds certainly qualify.
As such, I'd say you have the heart and I'm happy you've joined the Nexuiz family. Just remember, the key to doing is understanding. Try assimilating your understanding of sound with the game itself.

Isn't IRC using direct peer-to-peer? If so, doesn't that allow someone to see exactly where you live by your IP? :O
When connecting to IRC, you are connecting to a server, like all other clients. There is an option to directly connect with another user (DCC) but it must be initiated by one party and accepted by the other.
Your ip will likely be shown unless:
a) The network masks your ip automatically on connect (quakenet does not do this)
b) You sign up with the networks user authentication bot, (
quakenet does this but you have to set a flag to mask your IP, someone else will have to clarify how this is done)
c) Use a proxy service, such as the ajax IRC client available at
chat.nexuizninjaz.com <-- likely the best solution for a new user.
