I'm interested in either building on Windows or building for Windows from Linux. Is this (quite intimidating) build script still up-to-date/the recommended approach? (BTW, if anybody has any insights on the high-levels of what that build system is doing, these would also be appreciated.)

Also, I'm interested in building not the svn head but the latest release (2.5.2). However, this isn't tagged in svn. What are the steps for building this?
