  • Thank you very much divVerent, Morphed, [-z-], Bulb, LordHavoc, Tenshihan and anyone else that has helped build as well as maintain Nexuiz.

I enjoy the game very much with the FPS challenge it brings, good balance between weapons, neat-o torpedo maps, and how smooth, streamlined the menus and gameplay are. Thank you. Even one of the music tracks gets stuck in my head! Well, for a few minutes anyways. Hmm.. what if I could use rythembox inside Nexuiz... that would be fun.

I hope this game continues being an open source project because it is too cool how much can be done with one program if anyone can contribute! I got a lot of spare time and I would like to learn some 3-d modelling (for a future career in drafting/design) as well as some programming (couldn't hurt). Maybe I could help you all with SOMETHING because from the looks of the developer post, Mr. Leaderguy is getting stressed with development and could use it.

Thanks again for all the effort you all put into my hour of daily mayhem :)

    HOF:
<Diablo> the nex is a "game modification"
<Diablo> quake1 never had a weapon like that.
<Vordreller> there was no need for anything over 4GB untill Vista came along
    <Samua>]Idea: Fix it? :D
<Samua>Lies, that only applies to other people.

  • Cool tutorials. I've been reading a wiki-book on Blender and I think I'm following along pretty good; these videos should help.

Blender is a neat-o program. I played around with Autodesk Maya 3.0 awhile ago. That's an intuitive program and somewhat easy to get started in. Sometimes Blender's interface can look too intimidating, but based of some movies I've seen made with it, I like the potential!
