I'd like to introduce myself:
I'm C.Brutail, and I just LOVE CTF! I've just heard, a new game (Nexuiz) will launch a CTF ladder, but I have no team yet.
About me:

-I've played CTF in several games, and I have a medium skilled experience.
-My favorite weapons are: RL and Electro. I was once a good railer, but my skillz fade away couse of no practice
-I'd rank myself at the upper-part of intermediate player.
-I understand the meaning of "team", and I'm not lazy to give info about anything that happens on the map in teamsay
-I'm best on defense i think (but sometimes I like to rush the nmy too.)
-I learn maps pretty fast, and I like to use the environmental advatages too (medium skilled trick-jumper )
-I'm learning at a university, and hopefully I'll be avaible from Monday-Thursday evenings (18:00-24:00 CET+1)
-I'm located @ Hungary, and I have a good ping to most of the european servers.

That's all I realy hope I'll find a team to play with!

Well i'm looking for a CTF team as i think with only 3 teams the CTF will not be very much fun. 2 teams now have the minimum player number and one team sofar has 1 player. there are quite a few (10) registered players without a team on the ctf ladder. That means there are enough players for 3 more teams. i hope we can sort out something in this thread.

at the moment we are already 3 player(me, Doimedes,Sless) but you are welcome esteel!!!!

I would like to join a ctf clan. I've been considering this, but I don't really know how many Nexuiz clans there are.

I generally rank high on CTF matches on Herforst, even with a 150+ ping, although I will play whichever rules (with or without grapple). I know it's a different type of gameplay and strategy for each. I have a lot more to learn about combination strikes, communication bindings, weapon switching bindings, laser jumping, and overall strategy. I'm pretty good at straight out 'dog fighting'. In CTF, I'm better at defense than offense, though I've been trying to change that.

So, I'd like to know more about how this CTF ladder works and which clans are out there.

Most people should know that i'm not that low skilled and that i joined C.Brutails clan Laidback as it seemed to match my mood the most and also to help get diversity into the CTF ladder. At least it seemed to me that in the 2on2 ladder a few teams managed to get hold of most of those good players and i think that would be bad for the ctf ladder.

I think people interested in the CTF ladder should just sign up and write to the leaders of existing clans to see if they need help or maybe even better come into irc (#nexuiz #nexuiz.ladder #nexuiz.ctf on irc.quakenet.org) and just talk the people there. Its quite easy and fast that way to find people interested and it also helps to see how they act and stuff..

It seems the current four ctf teams are all big enough to start playing in the ladder so it might be a better idea for other people to come together and just start more teams (not neccesary clans) to have more teams to challange in the ladder.

I'd be willing to join on someone here's CTF team. I just recently started playing this game, but I've been playing FPS's both for fun and competitively for a while now.

Well the LaidBack clan already has quite some members on the 3on3 ctf ladder so i'd say first try some of the other clans as player hoggin is bad

hi all,have been approached in game to join team/clan on a couple of occasions now so anyone who knows what the hell theyre doing as far as team play and tactics with previous experience in UT or other team games who has set up thier own clan server or have there own server for nexuiz and are serious then feel free to contact me with details.
About me:I like to frag generally for fun unless someone type frags me or gets abusive in game.
I rate myself as average player although I do have moments of pure brilliance sometimes,I enjoy defending aggresively covering ball/flag carrier and doing kamikaze runs to break down opposing teams plays.
I can be found on noob server as It has good bots to play with when iam online in early hours and I have scored 20/-1 against bots 3 games in a row when on server alone.
Do not like to butcher peeps as a rule as I am out for fun and play friendly game especially on noob channel,but in team will be less than friendly to opposition.
