Finally I finished my first map and I'm proud to publish it .
I hope you will like the map and please give me some reactions about the map if it's nice or ugly or cool or...(don't be to hard for me it's my first map :p)

Good map oz, looks like a good start. I'd change the main texture a bit, looks kind of grainy. It's a good choice, I'm just not sure of the picture itself. I'll probably want to watch a demo of other people running it because as I said I'm not much of a racer. The first platforms seem like they're spaced oddly. After I see someone run it I'll take a look at the map in radiant. Good job though.

This is just awful.

Please use textures. More than 1. I didnt even bother making the effort of trying to make it to the first checkpoint because everything was the same texture and I couldnt bloody see.

Also, dont make the water damage when you cant jump back onto the platforms. At worst make it teleport you back to the previous plat. The point of water is to slow you down, not to kill you.

Your brush work from playing looked fine though, I'll have a better look tomorrow when I'm sober and feeling less crap.

Well not very cool to hear about that but thanks for being honest that will help me for my other maps

when you fall down: i hit the platform -> lava -> dead

just go a bit more on the left and it will come out fine

OK I had another look at it, you definately need to work on your texturing.

Also I noticed on areas such as the walls you have overlapping brushes, try to avoid this as it can cause problems.

The design in terms of a race map looks fine though. I'd say just keep mapping and learning.

Well the easiest thing to do is put different textures on the walls/roof/floor. Good luck on future projects
