  • So i re-textured facing worlds . I didnt intend on doing this but, Surb asked me if i could make the terrain darker because he plays with high contrast . I got to thinkin that doing the terrain wouldnt really warrant a new release . Also i cant beleive no one has used the new textures set " egyptsoc " on facing either . so i put a little time into giving facing a " face lift" .

    BOTOX changelog:
    invisible kill triggers removed
    not so far to fall and die
    recessed light fixtures in bases
    skybox gives "facing worlds" a metaphoric value
    most all brushes re-textured

    note: i added no brushes that change the gameplay from the original nex version in anyway . same great map, with more filling

  • Disclaimer: This is just me looking at the screenshot.

    The textures look too "busy" and its kinda distracting. Try replacing the wall texture with something slightly plainer. Also the lighting looks sort of flat, I don't know if this is intentional or if you just haven't run it through a full compile for that yet.
    Possibly not the worst mapper in the world.

  • ive played saome thing very similar to this map and it gets really boring after a while

    try puttin on turrets or some thing that will keep on on your toes

  • FW is not meant for single player and I doubt anyone from public says it's boring.

  • I agree with Sepelio. The texture on the walls seem a bit busy and distracting.

    I also agree with surb that the texures on facingworlds seem a bit too bright, but really the outside ones (the ground). The inside textures look okay to me.

    Somehow I've missed this. I very much like what you've did on the central column.
    But I strongly disagree that you've removed the killer brush... without that, ppl will just rocketjump out from one base to another...
