  • I have 2 copy of nexuiz.
One to play with low settings display
one to mapping with good settings display.
In the last one i have the script folder with the shader file of the big teleporter.
I have copied from liquids.shader included in data...pk3 in nexuiz 2.3
and i dont renamed it so maybe is this the conflict.
I tried to erase from my scripts folder liquids.shader and run map:
well the shader not worked (but i have the file in the pk3 file of the map).

Well now i have changed the name of shader file in grudging.shader
and i think the conflict is fixed for all :)

    ctf_grudging_mg_v1r2.pk3 (fixed)

here the map file: ctf_grudging_mg_v1r2.map.zip (fixed)

  • Still borked for me. Ronan's probably right, I don't have time to check right now though.

P.S. Why are you including the map file seperate? Most Nexuiz mappers included it in the same package.

    I have seen this
    http://www.alientrap.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1061

Im oriented to separate files for play map
and files for compile the map
and make available all the files (in two separate links)

  • I'm here again after long time.

I have for you a new version fo the map: V2R1
    is changed much.

    map completely rebuilded
    11 spawnpoints each team
    new jumppads
    new wall-ornaments (some very strange)
    sorry only a black skybox
    added various spot lights
only mg rl mortar electro nex
    ammo not near weapons
    ...and others things

I have tried to make a waypoint file but i failed:
the bots search for items and stay on the spawnpoint of items
    sometimes usues jumppad and teleporter
    alwais ignore my waypoint ;(
Well this map is for real players not for bots :-)

I have experimented much with shaders
and in the shader file there are some shader not used in this version of the map
    (really exist a v1r3 and a v1r4 but with many problems and i skipped :-) )

and please tell me what you think about this map

  • Great work but there are some things I don't really like :
    - the middle of the map with the turning stuff and the weird wall above it
    - the items placement
    - the black space all around the map (why didn't you use a normal sky ?)

Except these 3 points, I really enjoy the design of the bases ! :D
And there's no crylink, what a good new !!

Bye & good luck for your map(s) !

  • This map is coming out great. I love how it has evolved and I can't wait to see where it's going.

I agree for item placement and the sky box.
I will try to make a new sky box with Blender.
I hate crylink and never i will use in this map
About the moving stuff in the middle i like it. Now is a bit harder take powerups.
Sure with high ping and lag take powerups is quite impossible.

    Thank you :)
