several map fixes

  • the zip contains fixes for

    - evilspaceremix
    - gforce4 (turrets are working fine now with the new svn)
    - evilminsta
    - evil(space)ctf

  • Could you also describe WHAT is fixed and how a server admin should apply them?
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

  • sure i can :)

    evilspaceremix
    - adjusted the jumppads a bit
    - changed the bsp name, so there are no issues with the normal evilspace

    can be added like a normal dm map

    gforce4
    - the turrets are working fine under a svn version
    - no extra progs.dat

    can be added with exec turrets.cfg and set g_turrets 1 in the server cfg

    evilminsta
    - adjusted the jumppads a bit

    can be added like a normal minsta map

    evil(space)ctf
    - fixed some texture mistakes
    - adjusted some brushes a bit

    can be added like a normal ctf map

  • The following files in gforce4 clash with Nexuiz content:

    textures/evil8_base/e8crete03_blue_norm.tga
    textures/evil8_base/e8crete03_norm.tga
    turrets.cfg
    unit*.cfg
    textures/evil8_base/e8crete03_red_norm.tga

    Do not include them, or the map still breaks svn servers.

  • And effectinfo.txt in a map pk3 is bad too. I wonder why my script did not catch it...
