[MAP]ALPHA3 cbdm2 aka Vociferous, please playtest

Moderators: Nexuiz Moderators, Moderators

  • Here's the 3rd alpha of the map. Please, playtest it,so I can focus more on item placement. There'still not much eye candy to look at,but you can now clearly see the direction of the sci-fi theme of the layout.
Now I remember, that I've forgot to include the external lightmap images in the pack, but I hope that it's not that big problem.
You can start the map with
    map alpha3_cbdm2

  • I don't like that the teleporters only work one way. If they are only going to work one way, it should be denoted somehow.

  • Can't you see the particles? Oo

  • I don't really like the layout, cant imagine lots of interesting fights there, map seems too big, corridors are long and dull, I would remove half of ceilings to make more open feel to the map,and maybe not all wall of corridor need to have actual walls, how about one wall is "wall of buildings" which player cant enter ?

I know its kind of too late, but it would be better to compact the map alot making rooms intersect each other at different heights, something like that
