  • this is the result of me toying with gtkradiant and trying to see whats possible as far as movement control with nexuiz weapons,
this last revision added two new rooms, the last two, which are considerably tougher than the rest of the map

i may release a complete version later that looks decent and is set up for nexuiz race,
but im done tinkering with this for now so ill go ahead and put it up for you all to play with,
it was only meant as a proof of concept

alot of people were having a hard time with the last version so while i made it harder i added a spawn for blue team further into the map with no flag

i warn you, the file is small, but its a monster to load, crashes the game for some people

    good luck

  • I tried. I can't. And you're right, you'll have to overwork the spawning area of that map, or many players won't be able to play it. Is it really necessary to place so many shield items there?

I tell you guys .. this is completely sick. Is not about movement control, its all about wasting your time. Just forget it, this is light years away from being enjoyable

  • I think it would make more sense if usil made a video. It's a really hard map.

  • Epic!

Now with a reference on how to crawl the map I think I will start enjoying it :)

It was new for me that you can move forward while shooting to a wall when you look forward. That is pretty much like sailing, where you can go forward against (but not in front of) the wind 8)

Also it was new how you can stop falling with the mortar shooting to a wall. I'm surprised, amazing weapon control!
