  • Right. I finally got round to doing it. The map is completely different.

-New geometry, looks prettier. Made the bases larger. Added mortar.
-New texturing, probably not the best but MUCH better than it was
    - "secret" area. I thought the map could maybe do with another route to attack.

Used high res light maps for it now I've got my svn working properly. The only thing is, I cant find out where the feck it stores screenshots. So this is the only one I have been able to procure:

  • I don't like the player clip at the rocket launcher but otherwise it's a pretty nice map :)

I dont see it, can you post a screenshot?

  • ai, from those screens, you are running the old version of the map for some reason. The errors have been resolved in this one!

  • The one on greens is the first version, and it is quite bad. I only really made it as an experiment to see if a symmetrical dusty would actually work. It did, so I made the next version to be far superior in every way.

    Que evil laugh.

Hey, didn't meant it to sound like you should update, just explained why I saw all these things on the map. Didn't take my time to actually download the above map from the link, only played the map on your server :P So it's partially my fault.

  • suggestions for next version:

-Remove that player clip that has now been complained about lots
-Make the box below the player clip jumpable, amongst oher boxes
-Add trick jump from the rocket launcher/armour platform onto the other little satellite ones suspended on the wall

  • a few more things:

    - there is no mapinfo
    - there is no radar
    - there are extra unneeded files (prt, srf)
    - you shouldn't use the version number on the folder for your images -- unless I guess it was conflicting with your old one
