  • it was never meant to be a "leisurely activity". it was never like that in the ORIGINAL nexrun1 and that is why i made it as hard as it is now.

  • i have no problem with you changing the map. im changing it as we speak. the only problem i have is that you are the only person who has come to me having a problem with the difficulty of the jump. others have said they like the challenge. so it just doesnt make sense to me.

  • I challenge that fact but arguing about it is a useless endeavor, the map is already made and in the rotation, now people of all skills can enjoy the map.

  • Nexrun1 as in the one I made? It was never my intention for it to be an extremely hard jump.. I find it extremely easy but I dont know if people are playing with the same physics as what i made it for

  • yes Revenant it is extremely easy once you learn how the physics work. that was my intention for the remake i made of your map (i hope thats ok). i wanted people to understand the new 2.5 physics.

  • Speaking of which, what is so bad about the second part? I managed to do it once in the first version too, but never get the very first jump right (so I had to use cheats to get to try the other parts).

You ARE talking about the hagar climbing stuff, aren't you? That's hard, but doable.

Anyway, as constructive criticism for this map: don't make it so frustrating that someone who can't do a part right can't get forward at all. Simply make it slow for people who fail to do it right. Either by providing alternate slow routes (like in test99), or by using water or another liquid to slow one down who falls in it (like in runrunrun2).
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

  • No, literally the 2nd jump is really hard unless you get the curve perfect.

  • We may be talking about different "2nd jumps" :)

What I find insanely difficult is the very first part, jumping on that platform and from there to the next one.

The part that follows, the hagar stuff, is relatively easy in comparison.

  • The first one is hard enough for most people because you have to circle strafe. The jump after that (the 2nd jump I've been referring to) is near impossible if you don't do it perfectly. That's why I forked this version where that 2nd platform is double the size.

    That is the only change.

  • Make it bigger :D (IE: add more areas to the map).
