AcrossAnOcean (version 11) - This is a quick Sniper vs Sniper map. This map is best played in CTF mode. It is part of the Desolate Isle series (Dave'sAntiTower, Terrace, AcrossAnOcean)

The flag IS capturable: the portolauncher exists on the map, however you will probably get more points easier and quicker by sniping.

It's impossible to cap, as using the porto while carrying the flag is not allowed (you lose the flag when doing so).

Ill have t test this map out, im a fan of your maps!

Updated to v12.
New skybox.
Cleaned up brushes to fix long distance clipping problem.
Made mortar usable.
Added visblockers in columns so you can hide behind them.

great map, but i cant sniper, any help?

If you have no opponent, you can't snipe them, obviously.

Also, if you plan on capping the flag, you'll need a grappling hook.

Okey some competition fun: the first player who captures the flag on this map with the DEFAULT Nexuiz 2.5.1 settings (default CTF settings too, no hook or jetpack, or h4x0red porto) can wear the title "Impossible is nothing" Don't forget to youtube it.

EDIT: okey anyway teamwork is allowed too

Step 1: Get Electro and alot of power cells.
Step 2: Get a Rocket launcher.
Step 3: Get alot of HP and Armour.
Step 4: Spam electro secondary into one spot.
Step 5: Stand in the electropile and shoot at them with the rocket.
Step 6: FLY FOR YOUR LIFE!!

Hehe, it will kill you for sure, it has to be teammates who place down all the electro balls and also they blow it up. If there is no teamdamage (this is the only criteria for the map, otherwise its not possible to capture) it will work, 40 balls have to be placed into the same spot. We gave it a try yesterday, and once it was ALMOST succesful with huge unluck (like 4-5 meter was missing only) but it is possible Just check out the video and see for yourself
