Have no fear, I am never going to release this map, nor any other, to the nexuiz community. Also an additional cause for joy: I deleted all the links to my maps so that you will no longer be inflicted by them. I'm done with nexuiz. Lost my last friend apparently (for too much /msg ing ? wtf? Some peeps just say I stopped being amusing... and that's why. I thought Z was a friend too, last year or before, untill he straight up said he never was and it was just a joke/game on me. I'm stupid).

Also I asked about some fork that was happening, no one would give me any real information. Guess they wanted to keep me out of it.

I know that Samual and Lee_Stricklan especially dislike me. (I've even seen logs of Samual telling server admins that their server sucks strictly because they ran maps made by me.) (Lee_Strickland apparently wants to come teach me a lesson, or bury me in his 40 acre lot, I told him if he wants that, to come by my house then... so I could defend myself and not have a problem with the law for it)
I hope IllFonic burns your community to the ground (or some equivelant... plasters an ad over the tenament building so no one knows it's there?).

You're partially getting your wish: my maps have gone away (I've removed all links to them)
and I won't be releasing any more to the nexuiz community.

From a gameplay perspective, exactly what is interesting about this map? I mean if it were used as a piece in much bigger map in say a tactical/semi-realistic (Rainbow Six, Perfect Dark, Counter Strike) style FPS it might be alright, but in a chaotic game where realism is thrown out the door for crazy gameplay I don't see how this would be a decent map. Not nearly as interesting as your other map Dark Corridors which actually had potential.

I think new maps are always good. Simply put: if you don't like it then don't play it.

But let the man do what he likes.

PS: the map looks nice, but put some characters in there so we can get an idea of it's scale. Also, add some "attractions" to the map, and maybe a focal point (or several).

I am not going to release this map. I am only going to release screenshots of it and, as time allows, try to make it a good and enjoyable map for myself.

I celebrate the IllFonic takeover of the nexuiz name (which angers mostly the "nexuiz community" (which dislikes me for my beliefs, and I dislike them for theirs), and doesnt' seem to anger the devs nearly as much (if at all)).

I will keep posting screenshots of new maps I make but never release, Lee_Strickland, as a way to spit in your face.
If you want them, you can send the main nexuiz (gpl) developers huge donations in cash. Then... maybe I'll release some new maps someday.
But I don't think you'll ever do that. Ill just keep posting screenshots as I make things, and you'll post how much they suck gameplay wise even though you have NO idea as to the internal layout of the map (especially with warpzones and such lol).

i just wanted to say, illfonics nexuiz we are all fine with it Kedhrin is making peace with the community he has also won the respect of the community kedhrin has put illfonics nexuiz in danger because he's changing the the gpl nexuiz link on nexuiz.com because of us, and i dont think it is wise to post screenshots just to anger people in the nexuiz pc community, and one other thing kedhrin is also adding nexuiz pc in to his game so both games wont die, and last thing i'm gonna say, the people who said there your friends and then say there not, they say that because they are busy and they dont wnt people thinking that thy have a idiot as a friends although your not, they dont tell anybody about there friends just because they say something doesnt mean anything, trust me i'v had whats happen to you happen to me, so you can do that you can post screenshots make people angry yeah im gonna go play halo and not nexuiz, but remember we are not mad, and i almost forgot to say, dont have online friends have real friends that you know in real life or have online friends that you know in real life it helped me, and also div0 is a very busy person he's the only developer in nexuiz alien trap ain't doing a thing for nexuiz and i doubt that from all this nonsense that div0 has time to talk to anyone okay i hae said what has to be said good bye but remember my words

You sure you posted this in the right thread? Anyway I agree with you on Illfonic and kedhrin, he may have pissed us off initially by getting off on the wrong foot (and I won't speak for anybody else, but I was a bit out of line), but he has gone out of his way to make peace with us and even made a button that says "Original Nexuiz for PC" in the upper right corner of the new Nexuiz website. If we have anybody to blame for this mess, it's Lee Vermeulen, he sold the community out.

I agree from what I could decifer from your wall of text. A little hint: there is a little key on your keyboard that has the sign "." on it. It is very useful to highlight that you are taking breath for a moment and go on with another sentence. What's also very useful is the key that inserts a line break (called the "return" key). With that one, you can indicate you are going to another topic or another thought. (SCNR) :o)

As for the point you made: in order to avoid people going berserk and posting flame war like insults, we have written a community statement, where many people put their efforts and also their anger into and then transformed it into a text that actually makes a decent point without being aggressive and offensive. That way many people expressed how disappointed they are and what they really object to - without unleashing a rage on the forums. I think this forum reacted very mildly to what happened. You can find the community statement here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6079. Of course, you can also sign it, if you like, but that's up to you.

Apart from that, I am pretty confident. We collected already quite a few signatures and I am actually very happy about how this document is being approved by the community.
