For reasons unknown to me, GTKRadiant will not save correctly.

An error message pops up when I try to open up my saved map:

Unable to load project file C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\Nexmap\2.map
An unrecoverable error has occured.
Would you like to edit Preferences before exiting Radiant?

Does anyone know what is causing this? Radiant is not saving correctly, because the saved files are about 2k. Unfortunatly that message doesnt provide much insight as to what is going on, but maybe someone has had the same problem, and knows how to fix it?

This is VERY irritating, because I had worked for about three hours on this map, only to try to open it again after lunch and see this.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Is there an autosave.map? If yes, make a copy of that one and open the copy.

You would think so, but whenever Radiant tries to autosave, it fails (sorry i forgot to include that). I am starting to think that I didnt configure it correctly, but it was working for about a day before this happened.

if you are on windows and are using my readiant 1.4 patch : when you save the map include .map in the filename. For reasons unkown radiant needs this after aplying my patch.
