  • Not one of your maps is stupid :D they're all good work, not that laggy stuff we have so much.

    Go on editing until they're all finished 8) and start new ones :wink:

  • Z (Rus) You must do a .zip (rename in pk3) not a .rar ....

    It's a different compression and that don't work with Nexuiz.

    Or, narvik86, download the files. Open it and compress it in .zip (and renamme in .pk3)

    So nexm.rar --> nexm.zip --> nexm.pk3

  • Your maps are nice.

    nexm is far too dark (i had to max the brightness on my monitor and darken my room :? )

    Your lighting in general needs more attention.
    Put light-sources (lamps / lava etc.) over the place.

    Otherwise the layout and the minimalistic design is very nice as long as one sticks to minstagib ;)

  • The layout is very nice but i can barely see anything cause you lit the whole level with only the skybox.

    Add some more lights or brighten up the sky-shader or use another brighter sky or do one yourself, but definitely make the level brighter 8) (some people really play with gamma 1.1 or 1.0 ;)

    Otherwise a nice and fun map with a solid layout.

  • Port the black-wite and that CTF map to Nexuiz :P I like these maps... just like the one from the q3 mappack with "Es gibt keine Kettensäge", which means "there is no spoon"
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

  • They look nice from the screenshots but holy shit man, please condense them into one post nex time, the edit button is there for a reason.

    I'm going to find all these scattered files and try out the maps now.

    I'll edit this post when I'm done.


    edit: I didn't realize how old this post was as it was just bumped, that said, none of the links work O.o.

    I have played transz though and I like it. Good style.

    If you need want a mirror for those files pm me.

  • From the screenshot, I guess it's already in Q3BSP format. That means you won't have to rebuild it, just change entities...
    1. Open Notepad
