i've got a another post where i asked this question, but its a little off topic.. so I hope its ok to just start a new topic..

im redesigning the menu.. i've finished the header and footer.. but first how do I change the fonts and colours? I've search through the menu folder in one of the pk3's.. and i can't seem to find anything related to fonts and font* colours..

any help?

i think you may have to edit the "conchars.tga" but that will also change the in-game font.

I hope you'll upload this new menu somewhere when its finished so we may try it out and use it if we enjoy the new menu.

yeah i probably will.. i put a screen shot of what i've done so far in the screen shot's sticky..

but im considering starting over.. and re-doing the layout of the menu as well..


oh and about the conchars.tga... they must apply a mask colour to it somewhere... and thats what im trying to find in the code

There are default colors defined in the menu code itself and some more in menu/templates.menu but maybe you found this by now..
