so mybe every 360 seconds a server massage comes download new maps from..

No, there's only a message of the day (sv_motd), but you could do it with an external script via rcon.
However if you have a working curl_urls.txt, i don't see any reason to tell to download maps manually...

i dont get my map download to work
ok i started yester day whis the game and to day i set up my linux server.

the map rotaion works but i get a 404 error if i wont to download a map

a 404 error is a "Not found". this means that the map is not found where the server tells the player to look for it. To make sure it works, you can test the link yuou provide to the players by trying to access them with a regular internet browser

Did you set up a server (web/ftp) for distributing the files at all? The nexuiz server does not provide the files, it just tells the player client where to find them and download them by http or ftp

There are some open questions here ...
The Autodownload works as well ... but we didn get some message script workin ...
The Point is to get some script that shows some message in a variable timeset ...

Like the Message : "stay fair and have fun, additional maps can be downloadet at www.blablubb.com" ...

And we want to have this repeated any 5 minutes or somethin ...

Its a bit like that message of the day but should really bug the user with its message by showing it every 5 minutes ...

another cool funktion were searchin for is some script that locates text that apears in the console ...
Like someone uses the standart binding for "nice shot" ... so the game should see that this text is shown in the console and activate some soundeffect, so that the announcer say's "nice shot" through the whole map in addition to that text ...

Soundeffects that could be bind like this can be some for "lol" ... some for "nice shot" ... or somethin for players that are hard to beat ... ... this could be somethin like "Next Time my friend ... Next Time I'll get u" ...

The soundfiles for this will be made by ourselfs ... but we didn get the solution how to get our server do this things ... maybe we can get help from the Nexuiz-Development Team if there's time ?
