It would be awesome to know what you were doing (before and after this happened) so that people might try to figure out what has happened. I've never heard of instances where the Nexuiz loading logo has been changed, even when joining a weird server, but someone else might know something.
As for the difference in the models, what is different? The sound, the model, their settings (e.i. they make more/less damage) etc.

And as I said, most importantly, what were you doing before this happened? Did you join a server (if so which server and what settings did it had), did you download something etc. etc. etc.

It's always better to give too much information than to little.
PS. Why post this in this thread, why not the support section?
