zym importer blender

  • Script works well from what I see.

  • This maybe a really stupid question, but how do I install the plugin? You could probable guess I don't use blender.

  • (blender install dir)/.blender/scripts
    copy all files there (you will see lots of other .py files there)

    The script would be "installed" but invisible in blender so switch any frame to "scripts window" view and click (menu)->scripts->update menus.
    Now you can import zym's by clicking (menu)->scripts->import->ZYM (.zym)

    This script is already helping me preview ZYMs without having to load nexuiz. Saving me a ton (tonne?) of time. :D

    and use them when exporting

    I was wondering how you'd handle the scene issue. I don't know enough Blender animation to suggest anything :(

  • just a bump for the update

    probably 0.5 will be the final release then I will start dpm exporter because zym is ugly(but works)
