Anyone Know what this GTK error is?

  • I try to build the and it comes up with

    Code: Select all
    MAX_ORIGINAL_EDGES


    In red writing does anyone know what is wrong?

    Does it just mean I have too many edges in the map?

  • Exactly that.
    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

  • Well. This was a rather stupid thread for me to make. I don't want to take up database space, so please delete this thread.

  • No, someone else may get the problem too. Maybe with another MAX_ thing, but he may find this thing and see that this is one of q3map2's limitations.

    You can change the limit in the source and recompile... but then it uses even more RAM.

  • I use this page when I get one of these errors to quickly find out what it is and what I can do about it. Not specific to Nexuiz but could be of help maybe. If anyone knows of another, maybe better, page please share :)
