  • Texture blending didn't seem to work for me :( using I think 20080201 or something like that.

Also the generator force fields would probably look better with some motion to them instead of just being static. A proper explosion animation when you blow them up would be cool too. I know this probably isn't something you did, but it's jsut a general critique of Nex's ons for the devs :)

What does the announcer say when you capture a point? It's kinda hard to understand...

  • that looks REALLY awesome. I love the texture blending, it probably would look really nice with bumpmaps/lighting cranked up. Looks like it would be lots of fun to play with my mod too.

My PC renders about 10 fps but I love it. The animated trees is a real winner.
I think terrain blending was used across incompatible textures in many places but this map showcases the potential for some great outdoor maps.

I have a Radeon 3850 and with gl_vbo enabled on a similar map I got like 13-20 fps. With gl_vbo disabled it's like 120 fps. Try messing around with that variable.

  • I just gave it a shot, and it looks very nice. I don't quite understand all the mechanics of Nexuiz's adaptation of UT2004's gamemode. How do you know what the links between nodes are? Does ownership affect spawning positions?

It would be really awesome if pickups and teleportation access to the bunker were dependent on your team controlling the associated node, but right now it looks like the bunker is entirely neutral. Is there any chance this can be changed?

    Awesome job.

there is map coded but it needs csqc (client side code) but it will crash 2.3 clients on connect so its not added yet

yeah ownership affect spawning, you spawn at base or at captured points

    thx Mkzelda
