  • It's new, but at the same time old, it's.... The retro lycanthrope skin.

I got a little peeved by the current skin looking like a teddy bear and not like a werewolf as it did in 1.2.1. I noticed that the 1.2.1 skin had two-tone armour, so I split the beige segments off into the "pants" skin and the green segments into the "shirt" skin and kept the rest untouched.

(how do you get a front view?)

  • isnt there a way to get higher resolution skins?
look at the resolution of the model texture and then the resolution of the ground texture. It realy looks bad. (not your fault by the way)

  • IIRC that would require doing a higher resolution UV unwrap of the model. The player skins are currently 512*512.

that would be strange, as openGL always uses texture coordinates from 0.0 to 1.0

  • Hmm. Or was I thinking of something else?

Does that mean that I could just make a 1024*1024 replacement skin without having to touch the model in any way?
