    If GTKRadiant can open quake3 maps and save them as doom3, then yes.

    Well, I'm not even sure, GTKRadiant acts very weird, it doesn't seem able to compile doom3 maps, but it can compile quake3...

    But I can save my doom3 maps, just not compile, but I can't seem to save the quake3 map I created with your tool, I would really like to find away around this, because this tool saves so very much time.

  • Do i set my output source file with the extension .map? I have changed my pic image to black and white . ran the image thru the converter , made output to .map . Netradiant says its processing the file but it just sits there .
    am i doing it wrong ?

    How big is the image you're feeding in?

  • the image was 50x50 . but i fixed the problem . i found that in the generator if i remove textures/terrain1 and leave it blank then load the map, that it processes instantly with no problems . but hey thanks for this tool BTW

  • heres another Question . i always seem to end up generating various sized boxes all over and nothing that even remotely looks similar to terrain . much like the pic you posted about vis blockers with terrain removed . what am i doing wrong . is it something i have to do in netradiant?

  • Could this be made to support larger terrain sizes. Currently over a certain size it just doesn't work. Maybe also auto-center it all?

  • is there a certain way to apply terrain textures from the generator . i can do it with skies ex:, in the skies/sky1 i can rewrite it to skies/arctic and the map loads with that skybox . I just cant figure out the terrain for a dotproduct . doe sit have something to do with the drop down menu in radiant for the terrain textures? I would just feel better knowing that the faces are textured with dotproduct and the rest behind the scenes is caulk. i am able to set it to common/terrain , but havent learned how to set it a texture yet . heeeelp :)

    anyway, When I tried to compile (in MonoDevelop) it the only error I got was from JDesktop not being present...
    and an other problem that I noticed was that there were no comments in some of the java files...

    the layout file is a mess if you ask me... "add add add add add add add add"... unreadable...

    can some one provide a build script? or tell me what I need to reference? (and how)
