There's so much in the HUD (when enabled) that i'd like to put to the top or the sides, rather than having it all on the bottom.

Where are all the files for the HUD? (gfx, settings)
Would i have to create a patch or is it enough to pack it? (like a menu skin, for example)

try the alt layout and sizes, or no hud, or use csqc to make you're own. i want to see a hud that fades off and appears when damage is taken.
