I do realize i did not put as much time on those as i could have. OTOH they are untextured unless you run a SVN client/data and they lack all but the basic texture. Imo the base mesh and UVs are workable. maybe because i been doing 3d models since the dos days. Now im not saying no nuubs allowed. im saying take advice from ppl offer it or, if your nor interested in input, don't show your stuff until its done.

Texturing should accent the quality and features of a model (and in some cases replace lack of geometry). Hiding bad geometry whit texture work is hard and pointless at best. and if you cant get it unwrapped well the chase of it looking like anything once done are even less. and no its not about the lack of abundance of ploys. you should realize your limitation and work will less complicated models at your level imo.

I'm tempted to say "fuck it, fuck the nexuiz commune and it's design by committie-men" but that's what you've been asking me to do for over a year or 2.

When I join a server and there is this weapon that shoots a nex beam AND a lazer... I don't complain that that comes with nexuiz. I accept that it's a nice option.

Our art director can say redo the model entirely anytime and we'd do it too.
