  • Hi,

    I have a question about the textures sets included in the Nexuiz package (specifically the texture packs by Evil Lair). If I recall correctly, on the WEB site of the author it is stated that the textures are under some kind of Creative Commons license. On the other hand, Nexuiz as a whole is under the GPL. I could not find separate license statement(s) for the included textures (or any other artwork in the game). Should I then assume that the textures are also distributed under the GPL?

  • Nope, Evil Lair has kindly released all his texture sets as GPL especially for Nexuiz years ago iirc. All those you can find at his website are now GPL afaik.

  • Happy New year for you too! :)

    (but it's not organic chemistry, but chemistry of pharmacy, and I've failed that last time :( )

    Iirc it's somewhere in the Nexuiz readmes. Or better ask somebody from the old developer group eg. SavageX, or the project leader, Vermeulen.

    EDIT: ooops, my bad, sorry, pressed EDIT instead of quote :oops: (C.Brutail)

    Sounds just as bad as OC. We also had OC for 2 years (!) complete with practical demonstrations. I didn't like it particularly, although in general I liked chemistry.

    NP, happens sometimes. The message board should be configured to prevent such mistakes. Only admins and the original poster should have the ability to edit messages.

    @Alien:

    Thanks for the info. It's there in the README indeed.
