  • That's all I added point particles to the flag cap event. I was playing with different effects, I thought the tele looked pretty good.

    btw, what about putting something like this wavy thingy, when its quad tiem?
    just when you grab the quad, but maybe even when you fire as well?
    would certainly add some moar apprehension to the already: "oh hai death ur coming my way are you? how nice..." :shock:

    another place that maybe would be nice to apply this sort of voodoo, could be when you laser jump. bit moar stomp there :)

  • hehe, we're going to need some different types of models for that first but it sounds doable. As far as I can tell, you can't make rings parallel to the floor with effectinfo, so models have to be used and animated :-\

  • it looks good, but i think it should be a lot bigger, and more like a large energy blast than a puff of smoke (the shockwave, that is..the puff of smoke actually looks cool)

    make it so big that people across the map go "yeah, they got it.." :D

    and if its possible (which i doubt) it would be sweet if the blasts were color coded..the blast would match the base where it occured (Blue captures the red flag, returns to blue base, blast is blue, and vice versa)...cool stuff though..i like it..
