  • Here is my first pass at bringing some eye candy to basement. It's just called "test".

If anybody wants to take this further (please do) post the result in this thread. I hope this can get patched like code. I think that by the time it passes 8 hands it should be awesome. :D
The map is included and there is a shader file ihsan_test1.shader to add to your shaderlist.txt before you edit in netRadiant.

    Download ZIP:
    http://www.significanceltd.com/test/test.zip (10 meg)

If you just want to play, rename test.zip to test.pk3 and place in your nexuiz/data folder. If test isn't listed, start be typing "map test" in your console and pressing "Enter". Press "~" to bring up the console.

  • That looks really sharp, Nexuiz needs more content of this quality, and because it's a remake of an already official map no one can complain about balance or anything. :)

I hope you aren't giving up though? If so, is there something you might be stuck on, maybe modeling or texturing work?

I'm not stuck. I just want to start some open mapping. I encourage you to make a few changes and post the result.

  • Are these GPL? If not, they should be so this can be included in Nexuiz one day!
