Triggering with Flag?

  • Is it possible to to trigger other entities or events only by grabbing a flag ?

    Lets say i want to trigger a laser(s) with a flag pickup and it will not shut off until it is returned .

    I dont want just anyone to be able to trigger this , but only players who are able to grab the flag . so in essence the flag would be the trigger ?

    I did try a trigger_multiple > monoflop > misc_laser >target_position with success to turning on the laser . but the trigger multiple is what i want as the flag when it is picked up from base .

    Im not sure how to accomplish this ?

  • I to not think that the bsp format supports scripting... so this is not possible... if it did support scripting, then it would be awesome... (think WC3 stile triggers and shit....)

  • Hmm a quick work around I imagine would be placing a sensitive floor button under the flag..could still work most of the times but meh its not the same
