  • i have this idea of rotating bases . Think of a ceiling fan . In the middle is the center piece for weps health etc . and extnded out from that are four /eight "arms" . two of these will be bases and the rest will hold certain other things . Now i did a test run with just func_rotating . bad i dea standing on a func_rotating might cause ceasures , its too jittery . Duh ddnt think of that till it was too late .
So im not sure what would be the best way to go or even how to do it properly . would a func_train or func_plat work better for this effect and how would i keep the arms rotating like a fan around a center point instead of just a regular plat/train i need the arms to stay close to the center so players can walk on them from the center ?

  • It's not possible to rotate a solid brush as described with anything other than func_rotating.

Consider reducing the speed value to compensate for the continuous reorientation required.

  • thanks.
Some textures are worse than others . i found that a more transparent one works best for this situation . a green glass isnt so hard on the eyes .
