  • so im flying blind here guys.

I just began toying around in 3d, namely Zbrush at the moment. Lots of ugly things have come out. However, lastnight I made my first full-figure model. Once I got done I thought "oh well, thats cool, but I can't do much more with it yet"

So here's a snapshot of it, if anyone thinks it shows some kind of promise, potential, or they just want to use it to experiment with animation/texturing/etc, let me know, ill make it available as a .obj file, i hope that's suitable.

  • Don't ask if you should make something available. In most cases you should.
You will be glad you've done so when something happens to your hardware. :)

  • Thanks for the headsup, ill do so from now on ;)

    here's the .obj file

However, I was just informed at quakeone.com that zbrush models even when exported don't work as a basis for in-game assets. I'm very new to 3d so I can only go by what I'm told, still if you want it and think you can do something with it, its ALL yours ;) good luck, hope you have fun

  • so if i continue providing 3d models exported from zbrush to .obj Would that still be alright? or does the process of converting and fixing my exports sort of negate any interest? I'm really enjoying my work in zbrush, but like i said, my experience in 3d is almost nil, so as I learn, I'd enjoy giving out my work and trying to support Nexiuz development somehow.

ill upload a few more basic models tonight hopefully

  • Please learn the zbrush. It's industry standard for texturing and making bump/normal maps. We will need some skilled zbrush artists to improve our character models especially. Keep making obj's. The ideal situation would be to use a basemesh from the game and sculpt and texture that.

    Good luck with it.
