  • Soon one of my maps gets finished, but there's a little problem with it: I have some nice textures from uncertain sources, and the licence for them is not clarified enough.

So I'm asking for help from any talented texture artists, who can remake these texture for me:

  • Remake textures means make something similar that is clear are different textures with similar style. In this case dark metal-rock blocks with a glow map with some tribal shape.
And are 128x128 px i see.
I made some texture work for my maps, but Im not good in this works.
But I want try make one of this. I cant promise nothing now, just i can try and if somethig good popup i post here.

  • Image vs Image

imho textures from retexture project win in detail level, but not that much, you are extremely picky

  • Ok, I'll tell it the other way: I like to other one more, as it has a much darker tone, and looks much older, rustier, worn down, ancient.

  • There's a light halo coming from the left(and the right side is dark), I suggest you to remove it, because textures should look unlit, because illumination should be added during gameplay

Yes i used 3 spot ligths, the stronger make left edge more brigth, at begin of work i used only a front light but nor not evident. Well i have to make a bump map for this texture and test it in game. Thanks for the input :)

  • I liked the previous one better. :)
Btw. I think I'll need 4 variants of the runes.
