  • How do I make a brush rotate the opposite way? "speed -100" works, but I get error messages when the level loads. How am I supposed to do it?

  • What kind of error messages? I know nothing about mapping, but judging from the code, setting a negative "speed" attribute is the only way to do it.

"SERVER EDICT #(some number here)," followed by some info.

Turns out I posted too soon. Nexuiz wasn't complaining about the speed; it was complaining about not finding any brushes. That's because there aren't any. The rotating entities are patches. Which makes me wonder whether that'll cause trouble later on.

  • Did you put a origin brush in it?

    Yep.

Strange thing though; I only get two of those errors, but I have a dozen or so rotating patches (with origins).

Still, everything works the way it should (speed -100 and all). I just don't understand why I get the error messages when the map loads.
