  • hey cool :D i din't had the time and idea to add details just a small amount :D
    how do you make 2 colors of fog in the same level?

  • yeah the model rulez :D but the belly is a bit slim ... its a bit as if he is wearing a corset, IMHO ;)

  • @ sven: you cant get to different fogs on one map. the on the right are with your fog variables.

  • be careful not to get lazy when it comes to making the normal maps for certain things.. at the moment your dirt on the walls is indented and so it looks wrong ! but! saying that.. i like the soft warm lighting :)

  • looking good, but please turn down the gloss.
    i know it's difficult to find just the right amount of specularity, but it's essential to avoid that plastic look you get on the floor tiles (until you really want it that way of course ;)). The wall looks much better.
    Also keep in mind that the _gloss texture doesn't need to be grayscale! Coloured gloss can add a lot to the overall impression of a material.

    On the model: well, Nexus has a very thin waist, so it's ok like that imho (and iirc Xolar is cyborged Nexus).

  • there is one sunlight in the skybox shader and also 3 other sunlight entities , all slightly different colours and angles :D

    -Try to upload only a few pictures, in max. 1024x768 (but 800x600 is even better). Please prefer thumbnailed versions more!


    Maybe I'm the only one, who reads the forum from a cell phone too, but I must point out that this page needs more than 5 MB to load.

  • This screenshot thread is a 56K killer by design, and it would be impossible to appreciate new developments quickly if images were restricted to suit a 480x320 px screen.

  • I would like it if people at least limited their images to 1024x768 -- Not for bandwidth issues, but because larger images push all the controls on the right of the thread over, and you have to scroll to the side to get to them............ I'm lazy, what?... -- I mean, I have a 1920x1200 monitor and it's STILL too big some times.
    Do it yourself, or stop complaining.
