Most people post a thread in Nexuiz - Editing if they release a map so you can give feedback there. Problem is quite a lot of maps were released while the old forum was still active. Guess you can just open a new thread and hope they read it And the same thing goes for the maps in Nexuiz..

Thanks everyone for nice comments on my teleport. I will make fitting textures for it when i get the time to start learning texturing.
After i've got it totally finished I will make it a mapobject though I have no clue how to do that at the moment , but i'll figure it out.
I want a teleporter that lookslike the "stargate" :D:D

SavageX pointed out that 1200 triangles is too much for an item like this so I optimized it and it now has 860 triangles. The rest of the details will be made using a normal map. Since blender's capabilities at creating normal maps are quite limited someone else will have to do it but I'll provide the person with a highpoly model and unwrap the lowpoly one.
Just got it in a releasable state... somehow the lighting looks a bit pixelated on the floor, no idea why (reducing samplesize didn't change it at all)... but I just posted it here: http://www.alientrap.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=603
1. Open Notepad
2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
3. Save
4. Open the file in Notepad again
You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.
