    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

  • first screenshot of my first map :) i just finished the drawn layout and began mapping in gtkRadiant (so textures are not definitive, and it'll take a long time before a [possible] release ;) ).

    No, this is not a new map. It is a feature for mappers that will be available starting from Nexuiz 2.0.1: a jumppad gets an attribute "height" that specifies the height of the jump above the higher one of the player and the jump target (so you don't need to specify the highest point of the jump using the target_position, but the point where the player shall land - in the example, I didn't use any target_position at all but let the jump pads target each other directly)
    1. Open Notepad

    The game used to have very ugly items objetcs.

    I have not played the game for a while (4 years) . Whas the "bullet time" item removed?

    I think the item you are reffering to has been removed.. I've never heard of it at least ;)

    You are looking at ammo boxes going ka-booom in tmod2. The mod is not officialy avaiable, lots to be done yet =) It will have all the stuff from the old (nexioz 1.2) based tmod, and some new stuff too.

    News sofar is that every health pack, ammobbox and so on are subject to the forces of weaponsfire and explotions. Also collisions between objetcs are handles and proccessed according to the objects masses.

    The expoding ammo are also more advanced then before, feturing random munition expelled from ammo boxes at detornation, visual cluster explotions and chain plasma reactions.

    things planned are:
    * Trowable ammo, mutch like you currently can trow weapons.
    * Trowable items arc like greneades, aim higher = trow longer.
    * Optional "trowable flag" mode. Make ctf flag trowable.
    * Optional "Poison flag" mode. carry flag hurts you.
    * Got rocket ammo but no mortar? trow a handgreneade then! =)
    * Weponsystem rewrite with unlimited wepons cap.
    * make hook a offhand weapon that requiers ammo.
    * your idea here

    If you feel brave enougth, or just to curiose you can try it out by downloading this file and put it in your nexuiz/data folder. The next time you start a local game you will be playing tmod2. To revert to standard nexuiz just delete the progs.dat from your nexuiz/data folder.

  • A little part of my next wip map, called Flagtemples.

    This is a sniping tower, in the center of the map, in a larger, outdoor area.
    The tower has a floor where you can see the windows, and a n elevating platform, that can bring you up to the top.

  • Not to spoil something unfinished but if thats the flag room it should maybe be bigger. It looks almost a bit smaller then the one in nexface. the nexface one was ok but it was also much easier to get in and out because of the teleporters..
