    I would assume this is derived from the GPL .map sources from John Romero - so while "DM1" for sure is wrong the "remake" may also be wrong :)

  • New MG ammo. It's 436 tris, texture is a 1024x1024 jpg (somewhere around 450kb). This model is in .md3 and the current official one is .mdl, so you'll need to change the file 't_items.qc' in /data/qcsrc/server. On the line number 818 you will find the extension to change, then compile the file with fteqcc and you're done. Of course, you'll need to put this model inside 'data/models/items'. The file for MG ammo is called a_bullets just in case you're confused about that.
    NOTE: No, I haven't release this model yet, but if people want I can do that, but you'll of course need to change the file and compile for yourself in order to do that.

    This is a very quick step through on how to make this work, not meant to be super detailed ^_^

  • cool stuff ai, definetely looks better than the one we've had in nexuiz for trillionz of years. Due to the low level of detail the chain doesn't really look good though (visible polygons)

    1. Open Notepad
    2. Paste: ÿþMSMSMS
    3. Save
    4. Open the file in Notepad again

    You can vary the number of "MS", so you can clearly see it's MS which is causing it.

  • Haven't you said that h.264 is not possible to use in nexuiz because of licensing issues?

  • h264 is used outside of nexuiz. He is just bridging the video output to his encoder.

  • Some textures, with normal, bump, and, eventually, specular maps:
    The pack will eventually be released under an MIT License.
    The map itself is for quake2world.
