This is the first Nexuiz tourney with this PHP script. So consider this a test tourney.
There is NO PRICES nor ENTRY FEE. Just play for fun :)
This will start on Friday 30/3 and end on Sunday 1/4.

Tourney system:
Single elimination system first then switches to Double elimination when there is 4 players left.
If we have less or more signups than 16 players, there will be a qualification round with lowest seeded players.

IMPORTANT!
You choose 1 map and the other choose 1. How many frags you win with does not matter! It is the map wins that matter - best-of-three. So if you won 1 and the other won 1 you must both agree on a third map. If that is a draw choose a fourth map.

What time can we start playing at? (and is it just on friday? sunday seems a better day ) I leave for work at 4.15 on friday and don't get back till 10:30 and on saturday i leave at the same time and don't get back till 9:30. so will it be over the weekend or just on friday?

And what about if you're not available but your opponent is? Is there a way you can say you won't be able to play that time? Like on IRC, cause someday on that weekend I know I have to go shopping with my family. Dunno when, but I suppose it will be a morning (probably Saturday, not sure).

If you can't play then the other guy wins. I would guess most matches will be played in the evening as usual.

There's still a chance there are less or more than 16 players. O really, I'm quite convinced there are less or more than 16. Eventually you don't count as a "low seeded player" and don't have to participate at the qualification matches

Or maybe I should better read what it's all about the whole system here. Tbh I didn't care about it until now, I'm not interested in taking part anyway (you know, 1st april is the beginning of the motorbike season

Why will it suck for Americans? 12 PM Eastern (where I live) is in the middle of the day.

Yes, it does make more sense. I had to get used to 24 hour time when I lived in Israel.
