Tourney system:
The seedings will be random and will use single elimination.
The qualifying round begins on Friday (2007-06-08) and ends on Sunday (2007-06-10).
Round1 begins on Monday (2007-06-11) and ends on Sunday (2007-06-17).

You choose 1 map and the other choose 1. How many frags you win with does not matter! It is the map wins that matter; best-of-three. So if you won 1 and the other won 1 you must both agree on a third map. If that is a draw choose a fourth map and so on.

What crap maps? All maps is tested for 1on1's

it's nearly as bad as DM01 for 1on1.

I feel this is a bit unfair? since they both can't play and have said so...it's only like 1/2 a day late and obviously they have problems which has unabled them to do so before hand?

plus they have told you in advance, not like today..

yeah its a bit unfair i wait a whole week for rufsketch1 but wasnt able to play on Sunday when he was online and so he get a WO

I upload my tourney demos because some players wants see them and I think I played not too bad vs Kyre and Gut_Eater.
I had bad net condition vs kojn then demo will be not much interesting exept on soylent and at begin of aggr and warfare.

- Overlord : aggressor 20 - 24 for me / warfare 8 - 54 for me
- Gut_Eater : soylent 49 - 13 for me / aggressor 49 - 14 for me
- Kyre : soylent 24 - 29 for me / aggressor 20 - 34 for me
- kojn : aggressor he win / soylent I win / warfare he win it

thanks for this Tourney Morfar was funny, and congratz to kojn.

I don't know if he had bad net conditions or such..his ping wasnt really great but i don't think cuizi had PL problems like i had on my side, not being able to shoot and not changing weapons to much of the time really pisses me off i generally leave or don't play, but today we had no choice as this game needed to be played and he could only play on this server (delight).

We couldn't change servers, because cuizi only has a good ping on delight

On warfare i thought i would lose cause of these problems, but it died down a bit after 3-4 minutes into the game.

I hope your connection gets better in the future, or you change providers that way we can use a better server.

kojn: I recommend you to set the variable cl_netinputpacketlosstolerance to 1 and test if your ping is still fine. This will send your input-packets to the server twice (setting it to "1" means it will send one additional copy) ("input packets" mean that your own input, lke pressing keyboard/mousebuttons is sent to the server in packets). Thus when you switch weapons it will send this information to the server twice. As I do have packetloss and I did really heavy problems earler in Nexuiz v2.2.3, this setting really helped me to get rid of that problem, and I never had issues with switching weapons anymore.

However, this does of course use more of your upload bandwidth, and it could be that your connection cannot handle that and that would raise ping, that's why you'll have to try it out.
