yes, pack it... and I have no idea how to answer your alpha channel request, as I don't know the app you are using.

In GIMP, you do Layer / Transparency / Add alpha channel, and then if you delete selections, they become transparent, which is indicated by a grey checkerboard.

I'm using photoshop... I can make it transparent except it doesn't allow .tga's to be transparent.

I'll try gimp. Ok. I've tested it, it seems to have worked. I'm not sure if it's transparent or not but I'll do this to the images that need it then put it in a .pk3.

Oh, you use Photoshop. Some versions of it have a known bug writing TGAs. As a simple workaround, use PNGs instead.

IIRC it has to do with a 24/32bit setting when TGA saving, and a bad default. Try toggling that.

Well you know what's always funny is when something just with no reason stops working That has happened to photoshop, I'll try to get a few zips and pk3's ready but until photoshop decided to start working it may take a while...

Some minor bugs:

- radio buttons have still transparency problems
- pk3 was built wrong (rename plastic.txt back to skinvalues.txt, and make a folder gfx/menu/plastic to put the stuff in, and zip that gfx folder)
- I think the sliders don't fit the rest
- mouse cursor missing (but the standard one would work for it)

Otherwise, a cool skin... would like to include it. Can you fix the radio buttons and possibly the sliders?

They're the ones I've been trying to get fix but it just doesn't want to. Well all I can do is try.

Well one funny positive has come out of this situation. Now the transparency is working! I just need to fixup the check mark and the slider_s and scroll_s. Then it's finish (I think)

The xaw one was a joke by me - I made it to test the skin system while developing it

It's imitating the look of old X11 apps like xdvi, and the whole purpose was making a skin that's as different as possible from a good one, to make sure everything important is customizable.
