I didnt set any deadline, as I wait for some more packages. Of course, we cant wait till the end of this year, but I dont mind waiting some more days. Dependent on the incomming packages , I will set up the deadline.

Updated my Soundpack using some ideas from this thread and Bundy's. (Replace the old one, please.) While its size is more than 4MB now, I'm not gonna send it to your mail, because of Web.de's attachment limitation.
I had some samples in my mind for this possible ranking system of yours. Depending on what the player is doing, he gets a different message.

Flag Carrier Backup/Assisting - frags made from a certain area next to your carrier:
3 frags - "Assist"
5 frags - "Protector"
10 frags - "Hero"

Flag Capturing:
3 flags - "Hattrick"
7 flags - "Ninja"
(missing another ranking )

Base Defending - Frags made in a certain area next to your flag:
5 frags - "Cleaner"
10 frags - "Guardian"
15 frags - "Samurai"

Also if you get the guy with your flag AND return it, you get a "Safe".
These are only concepts. I could record any other sounds of course.
But I like the general idea of this rewarding system. In ET I was usually playing just to get the "Best Medic" award Of course, you can't do such a thing in Nex, but maybe these rankings could help to make people play as a team.

I don't think the "electrobitch" and "rocketwhore" would at all be appropriate in Nexuiz. I see Nexuiz more (family)friendly so words like that wouldn't fit at all. Also, it kinda shows immaturity and reminds me of CS and those kiddies. Of course those are just bonuses, just my 2 SEK

To hell with that- I love the current electrobitch sound, and am always elated when I get it. Don't change it please!

Of course it's not very polite, goodness gracious. But you got swearing in UT, and I just love that. Maybe it doesn't fit, if the announcer is swearing. But in my upcoming RussianRobot-Voicepack there's definitely gonna be some

The swearing isn't the problem here. It's the terms of those, it sounds too much as a kiddie and those lame gamers who complain all day long at others. I don't want Nexuiz to be associated with those lame kids. However, swearing is totaly ok if used right (like UT etc.).

saying "Begin" seems a good alternative for "Fight", it sounds less aggressive. I especially like the voice and the kind of echo, just the style in general. It is not so much distorted, not so robototic-like .. simply fantastic. great job.

From what I can hear I don't have any objections to redo many or even all existing nexuiz announcer sounds with your voice

The following would be great: you could, for now, release the sounds you uploaded as a higher quality version (or, what would be even better, if you make them having the same volume as the other existing announcer sounds like "3 frags left" so that the mixing makes sense and your sounds don't appear too loud). I can then create a proper pk3 file, integrate the sounds into the mod and have the servers that use it to setup a auto-download for this package, so that clients download it into their cache automatically.

Why are there lots of mac stuff in the pk3?
And 1minuteremains.ogg and terminated.ogg seems to be Nexuiz normal sounds.
