well I think the funniest frag is Ronan's frag on the first video :
duel for 30 seconds then the frag when he comes out the teleport
plus it's a last minute, tide changing cap, so it's nice ^^
and I love remembering this to Ronan ;) (you can see his reaction at the end of the video)

And yes I use the default sounds, where do you download other sounds ? I don't mind them really

  • i'm not sure if the frag of the month only applies to regular nexuiz or if stuff done with the svn build is allowed too. i'll post it anyway.

i was using the hand to hand combat mode in the svn build and pulled of a beautiful knockout jab. (i had my character set to fight southpaw). nice bit of timing.

i'm still not used to the footwork controls, i'm wondering if it'd be worth switching to a joystick for them, since mouse feels counter-intuitive.

Hey! This feature is indeed awesome, too bad there's no public server supporting it yet. How did you figure out the special combos? I just dug the source, did you?
    Meh.

    Haha, the bruteforce method :p
    You must've missed some...

ie. the double high kick or whatever it's called, assuming you're using the default binds, is K-K-<keep L pressed for about 0.5 second>
    Meh.

    Runs on wine, though.

  • dIM, nice move, but the frag itself wasn't spectacular. Definitely save-of-the-month material though :-)

alpha, fun rocket frag - I'm a bit puzzled over the carrier not seeing that one coming though and at least trying to avoid it, but heck, made a nice FOTM entry.
